A Visit To Uncle Benji's

Benji closed on a house in April 2022 (one year after we bought our house!) and we all got to come and see it. While there, Sirus, Beth's nephew came to visit. He is about 1 year younger than Quentin, but roughly the same size. Quentin was fighting off a low grade fever this trip, but he still managed to have lots of fun!

While at Uncle Benji's we got to explore the surrounding parks. This one is within walking distance from his house!

Quentin did indeed keep asking for "higher"!

Benji's new house butts up against a bit of woods which we got to explore.

Go Team!

We signed Quentin up for outdoor soccer this spring. This is his overall 3rd season total. One outdoor later in the summer last year, one indoor over winter, and now this one. Since we had had a wonderful coach the first season, and some parents who pitched in the second go around, Alex and I took on the role of coaching this year! I think it went pretty well :)

A trip to Rehoboth

So Quentin has been asking about returning to 'hobeth' and going to Funland since the season ended in September 2021. He had the date "March 7th" memorized as the date that Funland opened. We had promised him a return visit on that date, and despite the weather being terrible, we kept to our promise.

Trampoline Park

Since the weather was so bad, we stuck to indoor activities. There was a newish trampoline park in Dewey called Shell We Bounce. We got there around 1030 and stayed about an hour. Quentin had lots of fun!

Funland at last!

Since Funland opens at 1pm, we got back from the trampoline place, relaxed for a bit, had a bit of food, and then headed down to Funland! Quentin was DEFINITELY tired by this time, and looked it when riding some of the rides. But each time he got off he said "That was fun!" and wanted to do more. We spent about 3ish hours at Funland until Q agreed to head back home to relax for a bit.

Later that evening, Kim and Ethan came down and we all got to have dinner at the Cultured Pearl right off rehoboth ave. No pictures from this endeavor, but sufficied to say that Q was VERY tired (no nap btw) was a wee bit unhinged, but was still has adorable happy little self.

Whew! What a fun couple of weeks. I will leave you with this very happy Quentin that he is tall enough to ride the Teacup ride at Funland now. However, it is right next to the haunted mansion, and once he found out what happens there, he didn't want to go anywhere near it. So we will perhaps ride the teacup ride another time.

Elliott Update

I'm 30 weeks, nothing really to report. Elliott continues to do jumping jacks on the regular in my belly. I'm doing every 2 week appointments now since I'm in the final stretch. Passed my glucose tolerance test (yay!) so I don't have to do the longer one. Will keep the updates coming!
