End of summer

Wow, the time has gotten away from me! Here we are in September already. OK! Here are some highlights from the end of summer!
Annapolis 10 Miler
Alex and I got a babysitter and did something together! Shocking right!? We drove to Annapolis in the wee hours of the morning and got to do Annapolis's 49th annual 10 mile run. Boy was it HILLY! Was really fun though. Both Alex and I had a great time and did really well on our times as well.

Before the race.

After the race!
Happy 5th Birthday Quentin!
My little boy is 5 years old already! We did our regular birthday bash in the back yard. We had so many kiddos! Lots of fun. Since we didn't really have a big party for Elliott, he got to celebrate his bday (which was back in July) also.

Cake complete with marshmallows on it!
Hello Pre-K!
Quentin is officially at The Country School this year in their Pre-K program. His teachers are Ms. Hansen and Ms. Scotton, and his class has about 14 kids in it. It was a hard transition, but he is enjoying it, and even asked if it was a school day today, and when I said "yes" he said "hooray!"

He even got to bike to school!
Almost Fall
While Q is at school, I get my Fridays to spend with Elliott. Council Farms, a local pumpkin patch is open now, so that's usually where El and I go.

We like the giant bouncy pillow the best!
Phew! All done for now. Thanks for checking out the blog!
