A Wedding & NYC Trip

Nidhi's Wedding

On thursday after half a day of work, we all piled into the car to drive to NJ. We got into our hotel in the evening, ate some five guys in bed and watched Dinotrux, now a new favorite show of Quentin.

The next day we woke up and tried out the hotel pool - a big hit! We went to an off site ceremony for a few hours, then back to the hotel to nap... which didn't happen. Quentin still made it to the evening dinner although was acting quite goofy at this point.

The next day was the wedding! Quentin got to dress up in his traditional indian garb that Khyati and Nidhi had picked out for him while in India. There was some dancing as part of the reception, and Quentin loved watching this!

Time to head to NYC!

After the wedding, we got in the car again and took some BIG bridges over to manhattan. Since we couldn't check into our hotel right away, we went over to Brooklyn Park and spend the afternoon there.

After we checked into our hotel, we got to ride the subway up to Yankee stadium to watch Quentin's first baseball game!

The next day, we left the plans completely up to Quentin. We walked over to central park and wandered around. We climbed some big rocks, saw lots of turtles, and watched the row boats.

Quentin very much wanted to go on a boat, so we did!

After some food in central park, we wandered over to a playground. This one had some water features which was lots of fun to play in!

To end the day, Alex and Q went to find some vegan ice cream. They found a place right near our hotel!

The next day was the day we headed home. Before we did, we went to another park on the river called the "elephant park." After some playing in the sand and on the play equipment (while I shoveled some fritatta into Q) we headed home.

What a fun adventure. We can't wait to come back!
