Long time no post!

Man, I don't even know when the last time I posted was. Sometime this summer it looks like! These boys keep me super busy!!! Here's a scattershot post with the highlights over the past few months!

Pre-K at The Country School

My big boy is enrolled at The Country School this year in Ms. Hansen's Pre-K class. It was a bit of an adjustment for everyone, but we are several months in now and Q is loving it. He has a weekly "job" he gets to do - line leader, greeting guru, door holder, etc. He gets weekly show and tells which have to do with the letter they are learning about each week. And each student gets to also be the "star of the week" where they share things about themselves each day. Q hasn't been selected yet for this honor but is SUPER excited about the prospect.

Elliott

My big 2 year old boy! Lots of new words every day. This little guy is such a sweet snuggly toddler. He loves running after his brother and copying WHATEVER Quentin is doing - good or bad...

Happy 10 Years!

Alex and I celebrated 10 years married this October. We stole a fun tradition from some of our friends and decided to do a trial run - 1 mile for every year. So we did a 10 mile run out at Tuckahoe State Park. We went to Denton to get some much needed food after. Yum!

Our Mob of Boys

It's so funny, our neighborhood friends essentially ALL have boys. They are a fun rowdy group. Lots of fun playing at the park, pretend riding 4 wheelers, and getting ice cream!

My Boys

Elliott and Q continue to get closer as Elliott gets older. There is much less pinching/biting (from Elliott) these days - although still some! When Q goes to school during the week, Elliott is pretty commonly asking about Q and when he is going to be home.

My 2nd Half Marathon

Boy we have been busy these several months! This is a long post! So I did my second half marathon (13.3 miles) in St. Michaels. Alex was going to run it with me, but got pulled in to be a pacer at the last minute. A pace that I couldn't keep! So he did the 1:50 pacing group, and I stuck with the 2:00 pacing group and actually finished the race just under 2 hours. Wahoo!

The Turkey Trot

Another run! This one with the whole family. It was a pretty unpleasant rainy day on Thanksgiving, but we all showed up to run! Quentin ran/walked the entire 3.1 miles too! Go Q!

Phew! That was a long post! Thanks everyone for reading.

See you in a few months 😄
