Quentin's First Ski Trip

Feb 25th - 27th 2022

Hello! We had an eventful weekend in Feb 2022 with Quentin's first time on skiis! Warning - this is a very video heavy post!

Since we haven't been skiing in a few years, we were all itching to get back out on the slopes, so Benji, Beth, Kimmy, Ethan, Alex, Quentin and I all packed up our gear and headed to the Pocono's in PA.

We arrived on Thursday evening, and had all day Friday and Saturday to ski! Here is Quentin for his very first moments on skis.

We made some BP&J's for lunch time at the lodge, and Quentin requested a green ice cream sandwich for dessert. Q (like me honestly) wanted to shed all his ski stuff when we took our break, so of course Daddy had to put it all back on him when we were ready to go back out on the slopes.

We all stayed in an AirBnB just a few min away from the ski resort. Q had a lot of fun spending time with his Uncle Benji and Beth.

For our second day, in the afternoon Q got to do some ski school. I actually lied about his age on the form since the youngest is supposed to be 3yo. (Mom of the year!) But I'm glad he got to try out the lesson! He did amazing!

Whew. That was a fun weekend. This is probably the only ski trip we will do this year, but we are already planning a longer one next year hopefully back in the midwest. Park City, here we come!
